Salam 1 Malaysia,

Problem: Cannot detect wireless adapter
Wireles: Linksys Wireless - WUSB54GC
OS : Xubuntu 10.04 LTS
Pelancar: Desktop
Internet: Streamyx

Ada tak sesiapa yg mempunyai masalah ini? saya masih baru baru dlm Ubuntu ni. saya telah menggunakan Ubuntu dan X ubuntu. kedua2nya masalah yg sama timbul. internet hanya boleh dipakai dengan menggunakan kabel network.
Saya cuba menggunakan script untuk install driver WUSB54GC ini dari forum2 ubuntu yg lain., tp tidak berhasil.
Please help me...

ifconfig

Ubuntu gagal mengenalpasti USB wifi Adapter WUSB54GC yang saudara pakai itu, cuma saya nak bagi sedikit info atau klu bagaimana untuk menyelesaikannya:

taipkan baris arahan ini pada terminal

lsusb

kenalpasti syarikat yang mengeluarkan komponen wireless yang ada dalam USB wifi tersebut. Contohnya (ini saya punya) seperti dalam kod di bawah:

kemudian, lakukan pencarian pemacunya berdasarkan nama pengeluar di internet dan mana2 forum ubuntu/linux.

yer ker? pelik. connection icon tu xmenunjukkan sebarang connection sedang berlaku. saya cuba browse internet dgn Firefox. tp ia juga menunjukkan no connection.

Yes bro. sudah. xdak apa2 jadi. saya juga dah try buat new wireless connection. (masukkan password wifi). message yg diberi adalah 'New connection established' tp internet masih tidak boleh digunakan.

Perlukah saya manually install (sudo) pada terminal untuk driver adapter ini dalam Xubuntu?
